HomeCourt is booking software, not a marketplace that holds players' money. This page explains exactly which payments JSQRD AI TECH SOLUTIONS OPC is a party to — and therefore responsible for refunding — and which are between you and the Club directly.
1. Court, Open Play, coach, tournament and membership bookings
HomeCourt is not a party to these payments and does not hold this money. When you pay a Club online, that payment is processed through the Club's own PayMongo account and settles directly to the Club's own bank account. When a Club collects manually (GCash, Maya, bank transfer), you pay the Club directly and send them proof of payment. Either way, the money never passes through a HomeCourt account.
Because of that:
- Cancellations and refunds for a booking are decided by the Club you booked with, under whatever cancellation policy or Terms of Service/Waiver that Club has published on its own site. Please check with the Club directly.
- An unpaid hold expires and releases the court on its own — if you reserve a slot but don't complete payment (or the Club doesn't confirm it) within the hold window shown at checkout, the slot is automatically released and no charge is made. This isn't a refund because nothing was ever charged.
- If you paid with your HomeCourt wallet balance (where a Club accepts it) and your booking is cancelled or lapses unused, that portion is automatically credited back to your wallet.
- If you believe a Club has wrongly withheld a refund it owes you under its own policy or Philippine consumer protection law (Republic Act No. 7394), you may raise it with the Club first; if unresolved, you may contact us at admin@homecourt.ph and we will pass the complaint to the Club, but we cannot issue the refund ourselves since we never received that money.
2. HomeCourt's own fee to Club owners
Signing up a Club on HomeCourt is free — there is no subscription or setup fee. Where a usage-based platform fee applies per court-hour booked, it is debited automatically from a prepaid balance you top up yourself, charged to HomeCourt's own PayMongo account (this is money paid directly to HomeCourt, unlike the court-booking payments above):
- Unused balance never expires and remains available to pay future fees. You may request a refund of any unused, un-debited portion of your balance by emailing admin@homecourt.ph from your account's registered email. We aim to process approved refund requests within 15 business days, less any payment-gateway processing fee already incurred on the original top-up that the gateway does not return to us.
- Already-debited fees — i.e. the portion of your balance already spent on court-hours actually booked through your instance — are for a service already rendered and are non-refundable.
- A top-up made in error (e.g. duplicate charge, wrong amount) is corrected on request; contact us as soon as you notice it.
3. HomeCourt wallet top-ups
The HomeCourt wallet — a store-credit balance spendable at any participating Club — is currently disabled platform-wide and not available to sign up for. If a Club enables it in future, top-ups will be charged directly to HomeCourt's own PayMongo account, and this section will be updated with the specific refund terms for that feature before it goes live.
4. Chargebacks
Because HomeCourt is not the merchant of record for court-booking payments, a chargeback filed with your bank or card issuer for a booking should first be raised directly with the Club. Filing a chargeback for money that never reached a HomeCourt account may delay resolution — contacting the Club, or us for a fee you paid HomeCourt directly, is faster.
5. Questions
Email admin@homecourt.ph and tell us whether your question is about a specific booking (we'll loop in the Club) or about your Club's HomeCourt platform balance (we handle that directly).
